Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Surgical Care
Diagnose and treat spine-related conditions requiring surgical intervention
Perform spine surgeries in hospital and/or ambulatory surgery center settings
Evaluate patients through consultations, medical history review, and diagnostic testing
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Patient Management
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and recovery plans
Ensure high standards of patient safety and care
Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning
Coordinate care across departments and facilities
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on advancements in neurosurgery and spine care
Apply best practices and innovative techniques in surgical procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Qualifications
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Certifications & Licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the relevant state
Experience
Experience in spine surgery and spine care (preferred)
Experience working in hospital and/or surgical center environments
