Job Title: Project Engineer
Full-time | On-site \ Hybrid
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to manage and oversee engineering projects from concept to completion.
This role involves planning, designing, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining quality, compliance, and timelines.
The ideal candidate will also lead and mentor a small team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee engineering projects including site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and transportation systems

Plan, schedule, and coordinate all technical project activities

Conduct site evaluations and analyze surveys, maps, and reports to determine project feasibility

Perform drainage and hydraulic calculations for stormwater systems and related infrastructure

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations

Lead design teams, review plans, and implement revisions as needed

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project progress

Monitor project budgets, timelines, and overall quality

Identify project risks and propose effective solutions

Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders

Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field
-
Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license
-
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering or project engineering

Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, and utility systems
-
Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D or similar CAD tools)

Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., HEC-RAS is a plus)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
