Key Responsibilities
Case Management
Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims
Track case progress and ensure timely completion of all legal processes
Legal Documentation & Research
Prepare settlement demands and supporting documentation
Draft and respond to discovery requests
Conduct legal research and case analysis
Negotiation & Settlement
Negotiate claims with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties
Work toward favorable settlements for clients
Court Representation
Represent clients in hearings, motions, and legal proceedings
Prepare legal arguments and supporting materials
Depositions & Client Interaction
Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients
Required Qualifications
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensure
Active license to practice law
Experience
0–3 years of experience in workers' compensation or related litigation
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload
