Key Responsibilities
Litigation Management
Manage civil litigation matters through all phases of a case
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents
Conduct legal research and assist in developing case strategies
Take and defend depositions
Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for hearings, mediations, and trials
Appear in court for hearings and motion practice
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
Communication & Collaboration
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case development and strategy

Required Qualifications
3–5 years of civil litigation experience
Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
Deposition experience preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
