Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join a growing Real Estate practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with significant experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, leasing matters, property acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, and real estate financing.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers, investors, franchisees, corporate clients, and other business entities on a wide range of real estate and commercial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leasing
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage
commercial lease agreements

Advise clients on lease structuring, renewals, amendments, assignments, and terminations

Analyze leasing risks and provide strategic legal recommendations
Real Estate Transactions
-
Handle acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of commercial properties

Conduct due diligence reviews and assist with transaction structuring

Prepare and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, and closing documents
Development & Corporate Real Estate
-
Advise clients on commercial development projects and real estate investments

Assist with land use, development, and project-related legal matters
-
Support corporate real estate transactions and asset management activities
Franchise & Distribution Matters
- Review and negotiate
franchise-related agreements
- Assist with franchise renewals, transfers, and related transactional matters
Client Counseling & Relationship Management

Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding commercial real estate matters

Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Required Qualifications
Education:
Licensure:
Experience:

5–10 years of experience in commercial real estate law (required)

Extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases (required)

Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and real estate financing transactions (required)
