Key Responsibilities
Control System Design
Design and develop electrical control systems for machines and equipment
Create control design concepts, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs)
Develop user interfaces and automation solutions
Commissioning & Validation
Perform machine commissioning and validation testing
Follow structured design and project execution processes
Collaboration & Requirements Analysis
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams on specifications and requirements
Analyze customer requirements and assess feasibility, risks, and timelines
Problem-Solving & Improvement
Identify issues and perform root cause analysis to develop effective solutions
Improve existing designs to enhance quality and reduce costs
Mentorship & Documentation
Mentor and support junior engineers
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in controls engineering
Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., EPlan or similar CAD software)
Strong knowledge of control systems and automation
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in machine commissioning and field service
Familiarity with industrial automation systems
Experience working directly with customers
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
