Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer (PE)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to lead and support geotechnical investigations and provide practical engineering recommendations for a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will evaluate soil, rock, and groundwater conditions, perform engineering analyses, and prepare detailed technical reports to support safe and cost-effective design and construction activities.
This role requires close collaboration with project managers, clients, design engineers, and field/laboratory teams throughout all phases of a project, from initial site investigation through construction support.

Key Responsibilities
Geotechnical Reporting & Analysis
-
Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, technical memoranda, and recommendations
-
Perform geotechnical analyses including:
- Bearing capacity
- Settlement analysis
- Lateral earth pressures
- Slope stability
Subsurface Investigations
- Plan and oversee subsurface investigations including drilling, sampling, and field testing activities
Engineering Recommendations
- Provide engineering recommendations for:
- Residential, commercial, and industrial developments
- Retaining walls and earth retention systems
- Roads, bridges, and utility infrastructure
- Energy and critical facility projects
Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with clients, project managers, design teams, and field personnel to ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule

Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase support, including responding to field conditions and RFIs
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an
ABET-accredited program
Licensure
Experience
- Minimum
5 years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Strong
technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting
infrastructure and land development projects
- Knowledge of geotechnical investigation procedures and
construction support services
- Strong
organizational and project coordination skills
