We are seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney to join a growing legal team. This role focuses on environmental regulatory compliance, permitting, and transactional support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience advising clients on environmental matters and handling complex regulatory and litigation issues.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Permitting
Advise clients on environmental permitting and regulatory compliance at federal, state, and local levels
Represent clients before regulatory agencies and government bodies
Provide guidance on land use, permitting, and environmental compliance requirements
Site Remediation & Transactional Support
Counsel clients on site remediation and redevelopment matters
Support transactional matters, including environmental due diligence and risk assessment
Litigation & Enforcement
Assist with or lead environmental litigation and enforcement actions
Collaboration & Case Management
Collaborate with internal teams to develop practical legal solutions
Manage multiple matters and ensure timely delivery of work
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New Jersey (in good standing)
Minimum 6+ years of experience in environmental law
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (air, water, waste, etc.)
Experience with permitting, compliance, and regulatory matters
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and client management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Admission to New York Bar (plus)
Experience with environmental litigation and enforcement
Background in site remediation and environmental due diligence
Experience working with government agencies or clerkship experience
