Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Design and develop new mechanical products and improve existing designs

Manage projects through the full lifecycle (concept to production and support)

Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation

Coordination & Support

Coordinate with supply chain teams for prototype development and BOM management

Support fabrication and assembly teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting

Cost & Budget Management

Identify cost reduction opportunities and manage project budgets

Prepare and present technical reports to internal teams and stakeholders

Compliance & Training

Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and specifications

Provide training and support for product usage and operations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

High attention to detail and ownership of work

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SolidWorks PDM or similar systems

Experience with heavy equipment design and troubleshooting

Knowledge of hydraulic systems and component selection

Familiarity with ASME codes and standards

Experience in fabrication, welding, and design for manufacturability (DFM)
