Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

Supervise and support respiratory therapy staff

Monitor and evaluate staff competencies and performance

Develop and conduct staff training programs

Patient Care

Perform patient assessments upon admission and prior to discharge

Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans and goals

Provide education to patients, staff, and students

Documentation & Compliance

Review clinical documentation and respiratory care records

Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures

Collaboration & Improvement

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals on patient care

Support continuous improvement in respiratory care services

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of employment)

Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Qualifications

Supervisory or leadership experience
