Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Trademark Paralegal to support complex U.S. and international trademark portfolios.
This role will manage trademark filings, prosecution, renewals, enforcement matters, and portfolio maintenance while working closely with attorneys and clients to ensure high-quality intellectual property support.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive trademark experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Trademark Portfolio Management

Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios from application through registration and maintenance

Coordinate trademark filings, renewals, assignments, and recordation activities
Trademark Prosecution
-
Prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO and foreign trademark offices
-
Draft goods and services descriptions and review specimens of use
-
Prepare responses and supporting documentation for trademark office actions
Trademark Enforcement & Disputes
- Support trademark enforcement activities, including oppositions, cancellations, infringement matters, domain name disputes (UDRPs) , and counterfeit investigations
Trademark Searches & Analysis
- Conduct preliminary trademark clearance and
knockout searches

Utilize trademark databases and research tools to identify potential conflicts

Assist attorneys with full trademark clearance investigations and search analyses
Docketing & Records Management

Monitor trademark deadlines and maintain accurate docket records

Ensure timely filing of applications, renewals, responses, and related trademark documents
Team Collaboration & Client Support

Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and legal support teams to ensure efficient workflow management

Provide proactive updates regarding trademark matters and deadlines
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience
-
Minimum 10 years of Trademark Paralegal experience in a law firm or intellectual property legal environment (required)

Extensive experience managing U.S. and international trademark portfolios (required)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of U.S. trademark laws, rules, and
procedures

Experience with USPTO filing systems and trademark databases

Advanced proficiency with legal research tools

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience with trademark docketing systems
