Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a long-term care setting. This role involves overseeing daily dispensing activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in healthcare facilities such as nursing homes and group homes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure accurate medication dispensing

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance

Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Manage medication therapy and ensure proper documentation

Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Participate in on-call, weekend, and rotational shifts as required

Support pharmacy services such as compounding, packaging, and medication management systems
Required Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree

Active state pharmacist license
Preferred Experience

Experience in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy settings
