Job Title:  CAD Drafter (Civil 3D) / Survey Technician – Land Development

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CAD Drafter / Survey Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and will support residential and commercial land development and surveying projects.

This role involves preparing survey drawings, collaborating with licensed surveyors and engineers, and assisting with a variety of drafting and surveying tasks. If you have a passion for land development drafting and a keen eye for detail – and you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment – we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Survey Drawing & Drafting:

• Prepare and revise survey drawings using field-collected data

• Draft and update the following documents:

  • ALTA/NSPS Surveys
  • Plats and

Easement descriptions

• Boundary and topographic exhibits

Technical Support:

• Assist with floodplain determination and environmental report support

Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate daily with:
  • Licensed surveyors
  • Engineers and technical staff
  • Project managers and team leaders

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD (required)

Industry Knowledge:

• Experience in survey drafting (strongly preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a

fast-paced team environment

Preferred Skills (Not Required, but a Plus)
