Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and land development projects.

This role ensures projects meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while delivering efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop site plans, including parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion control, and stormwater management systems

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including stormwater and environmental standards

• Manage projects from initial concept through completion based on scope and experience

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle

• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards

• Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, and technical documentation

• Support permitting processes and regulatory approvals

• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and independently as required

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering or land development

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and

Autodesk Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications

• State-specific PE licensure (as applicable)

• Experience in large-scale or industrial projects

• Knowledge of low-impact development (LID) practices

Work Environment & Additional Details

• Combination of office-based work and field/site visits

• May require travel (up to 20%)

• Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions when on-site

Employment Requirements
