We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and support the design and development of substation and high-voltage facility infrastructure in Louisiana. This role focuses on structural and civil design – including foundations, site grading, drainage systems, and erosion control – while ensuring projects meet rigorous quality, code, and schedule requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Design substation structures, foundations, and site grading plans
Perform civil and structural calculations, including shallow and deep foundation analysis
Develop site layouts, drainage systems, and erosion/sediment control plans
Prepare and review engineering calculations and technical documentation
Ensure designs meet project requirements, codes, and industry standards
Coordinate with internal teams to meet submission and fabrication schedules
Support preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
Conduct site visits, inspections, and client consultations as needed
Perform additional engineering duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
Strong understanding of foundation design and structural analysis
Proficiency in engineering calculations and technical documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Technical Skills
Proficiency with the following tools (or equivalents):
AutoCAD Civil 3D
Mathcad
STAAD Pro
LPile
RISA Foot (or similar structural analysis software)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
Knowledge of site development, grading, and drainage design
Experience with erosion and sediment control design
Familiarity with high-voltage or substation projects
