Job Title: Controller

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead and manage all accounting operations within a dynamic and growing organization. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving process improvements to support business scalability.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

Manage and coordinate audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements

Lead core accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets

Ensure accurate transaction recording and account reconciliations

Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team

Collaborate with cross-functional departments including finance, operations, and HR

Oversee accounting systems and support system upgrades or implementations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience Requirements

Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience

Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations

Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
Preferred Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation

Experience with audits, multi-entity structures, or multi-state operations
