Location:  Cody Wyoming, USA – On-Site

Work Mode:  On-Site | Hospital / Outpatient Imaging Center

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in CT imaging, radiation safety practices, quality assurance, and patient assessment across all age groups.

This role may also support additional imaging modalities based on individual certifications, licensure, and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging

  • Perform CT examinations following established protocols and quality standards

  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety principles, including ALARA and Image Gently/Wisely guidelines

  • Review physician orders for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness

  • Accurately evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal diagnostic results

Patient Care

  • Verify patient identity using approved patient identification procedures

  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure understanding and comfort

  • Safely position, transfer, and assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures

  • Perform patient screening and assessments as required

  • Initiate and discontinue peripheral intravenous (IV) lines when appropriate

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain competency in CT imaging and other assigned modalities

  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and quality control programs

  • Ensure accurate documentation, exam completion, and charge entry

  • Follow all departmental, organizational, and regulatory policies and procedures

Operations & Team Support

  • Assist with scheduling patients and coordinating imaging services as needed

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties as assigned

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

  • Attend department meetings, training sessions, and emergency preparedness drills

  • Support departmental operations independently when required

  • Rotate shifts, work holidays, and participate in on-call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography [RT(R)] and Computed Tomography [CT] (required)

  • Current state licensure as required (required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field

  • Two or more years of clinical CT experience

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of clinical CT experience (required)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and

radiation safety practices

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-stress environments

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to liftmoveposition, and transfer patients safely

  • Ability to standwalkbend, and perform imaging procedures for extended periods
