Job Title: Custom Residential Architectural Designer
Job Summary
The Architectural Designer is responsible for leading the design and development of custom residential homes, from concept through construction documentation.
This role collaborates with clients, sales teams, and construction teams to deliver high-quality, functional, and buildable designs aligned with project requirements and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design

Design custom residential homes from initial concept to final construction drawings.

Modify and adapt existing plans to meet client requirements.
Client Collaboration

Engage with clients to understand their lifestyle needs, preferences, and budget.

Present design concepts and guide clients through decision-making.
Construction Coordination

Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure design feasibility.

Review plans during pre-construction to identify and resolve potential issues.
Plan Development

Prepare detailed architectural drawing sets, including:
- Floor Plans
- Elevations
- Sections
- Detailed Drawings

Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
Design Leadership

Contribute to the development of design standards and architectural guidelines.

Assist in creating model home designs and plan libraries.
Requirements
-
5+ years of experience in residential architectural design.

Experience in custom or luxury residential projects preferred.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Strong understanding of residential construction methods.

Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
