Job Title: Director of Nursing – Home Infusion Services
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations for a home infusion services program.
This role is responsible for establishing nursing infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing clinical quality and patient safety.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience along with expertise in infusion therapy and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Compliance Leadership :

Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations

Develop and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and documentation standards

Lead accreditation preparation and ensure audit readiness
-
Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs
Clinical Program Development:

Develop and implement infusion therapy protocols (e.g., IVIG, biologics, specialty therapies)

Establish patient assessment, care planning, and documentation processes

Define clinical escalation and emergency response procedures
Staffing & Clinical Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage nursing staff

Validate clinical competencies and provide ongoing training
-
Establish and manage on-call coverage models
Operational Collaboration:

Partner with cross-functional teams to support efficient patient care delivery

Support program expansion and multi-site operations
Required Qualifications
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (as per state requirements)

Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience

At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
-
Experience in infusion therapy (e.g., IVIG, biologics, specialty treatments)

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation processes
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in home infusion or program startup environments

Experience with ambulatory or infusion center services
