Job Title: Director of Nursing

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and manage nursing operations within a long-term care setting.
This role is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with elderly residents while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct all nursing department operations

Supervise and support nursing staff across all shifts

Ensure delivery of high-quality care to residents

Maintain compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care programs

Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Monitor clinical outcomes and implement improvements when necessary

Oversee state reporting and corrective action plans

Promote a positive work culture and team environment
Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience

Minimum 5 years of nurse management experience
