Job Overview

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, functional limitations, and movement disorders.

This role focuses on delivering patient-centered, outcome-driven care through individualized treatment plans, with an emphasis on quality, collaboration, and long-term patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Evaluation & Treatment

• Assess patients’ physical conditions, mobility limitations, and functional abilities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and function.

2. Rehabilitation & Care Delivery

• Treat a variety of conditions including post-operative recovery, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders.

• Apply evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

3. Collaboration & Communication

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals when required.

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment goals and progress.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards.

5. Patient Education & Wellness

• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and long-term wellness.

6. Professional Development

• Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy practices.

• Participate in ongoing learning and skill development.
