Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying electrical schematics, system layouts, and component selections for industrial equipment and automation systems.
This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support manufacturing, engineering, and customer requirements. If you have 3+ years of industry experience in electrical design or automation engineering – and proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical – we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design & Engineering
-
Design and develop electrical schematics for standard and custom industrial machinery
-
Create and modify technical drawings and electrical system layouts
-
Select electrical components and ensure compatibility with system requirements

Perform engineering calculations including heat load and
SCCR analysis
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
Project Coordination & System Support

Plan and manage assigned engineering projects to meet deadlines and quality standards
-
Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to support production activities
-
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving electrical design issues
-
Support setup and maintenance of engineering data within ERP and
CAD systems
Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Participate in design improvement initiatives and value engineering activities
-
Research new electrical components and emerging technologies
-
Support automation, process improvement, and
R&D efforts
Qualifications

Education:
Experience:
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (required)

Strong knowledge of:
- UL standards
- NEC and NFPA 79 regulations
- Electrical components and
control systems
- Experience creating electrical schematics and
BOMs
Soft Skills:
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but a Plus)
- Experience working with industrial automation or
packaging machinery
- Familiarity with ERP and
CAD management systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
