Job Summary

The Family Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.

This role involves working collaboratively within a patient-centered care team to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical histories and physical examinations based on patient needs

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions following standard medical practices

• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans, including patient education and follow-up

• Make appropriate referrals to specialists or other healthcare services when necessary

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers regarding patient care

• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records documentation

• Ensure all documentation complies with organizational policies and standards

• Participate in clinical committees, including peer reviews, as required

• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and medical staff guidelines

• Provide supervision and consultation to nurse practitioners and physician assistants when needed

• Participate in on-call and emergency coverage schedules

• Engage in care coordination with case management and health education teams

Qualifications

• Active and valid physician license

• Valid DEA certification

• Eligibility for medical staff membership

• Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
