We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to join a compassionate, mission-driven nonprofit healthcare network on the Colorado Front Range. This full-time, hybrid role offers a highly competitive base salary of $234,000 – $275,000/year, plus a robust bonus structure, generous relocation reimbursement, and industry-leading mileage compensation. You will oversee clinical operations across two community locations, working onsite twice a week at each and remotely one day a week. As the Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership, medical oversight, and quality improvement direction to achieve optimal outcomes for participants. You will serve as a vital medical resource for the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), oversee mid-level providers, and ensure the highest standards of comprehensive, whole-person care.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical care, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and patient education.

Collaborate with the IDT to develop and review participant care plans and provide clinical guidance.

Oversee the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid requirements.

Provide palliative and hospice-related care, including symptom management and inpatient hospice physician services.

Document all services accurately and promptly in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Graduate from an approved school of medicine.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a practicing physician in hospice, internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, oncology, or a related field.

Certifications: Current Colorado Physician License; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Hospice & Palliative Medicine; Current CPR Certification.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and medical coding/documentation standards.

Soft Skills: Strong interdisciplinary collaboration, effective patient/family communication, problem-solving, and psychosocial support capabilities.
