Job Title: Interventional Pain Management Physician

Full-time | On-Site

Job Overview

The Interventional Pain Management Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain conditions using minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and comprehensive pain management strategies.

This role focuses on improving patients’ quality of life through personalized treatment plans, collaborative care, and advanced interventional techniques.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.

  • Provide ongoing care and monitor patient progress.

2. Interventional Procedures

  • Perform image-guided pain management procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive techniques.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., imaging studies) to guide treatment.

  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to procedural protocols.

3. Collaboration & Care Coordination

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedic specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Adhere to healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.

5. Quality & Professional Development

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

  • Stay current with advancements in pain management and interventional techniques.

Qualifications

Education & Training

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of residency training in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or a related field.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).

Experience & Skills

  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating pain-related conditions.

  • Proficiency in interventional pain procedures and image-guided techniques.

  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
