Job Title:  Land Survey CAD Technician – Civil 3D & Survey Drafting

Employment Type:  Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Land Survey CAD Technician to support land development and surveying projects through accurate drafting, data processing, and technical production work.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Civil 3D, survey drafting workflows, and geospatial data processing, with the ability to transform raw field data into high-quality deliverables.

This role involves close collaboration with surveyors, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure accurate project execution and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Survey Deliverables

• Prepare high-quality survey deliverables including:
  • ALTA Surveys
  • Plats
  • Easements
  • Topographic Surveys

Data Processing & Drafting

• Convert raw field data into accurate Civil 3D drawings and project deliverables

• Support point cloud registration and processing activities

• Assist with LiDAR, drone, and photogrammetry data processing

Coordination & Quality Control

• Coordinate with surveyors and project managers to maintain project timelines and workflow efficiency

• Review drawings and data for accuracy, completeness, and quality control

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Technical Certification in CAD, Surveying, or related field

• Minimum

2 years of relevant CAD or land surveying experience

• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and survey drafting workflows

• Experience with point clouds, LiDAR, drone mapping, or photogrammetry (preferred)

• Strong understanding of:

  • Survey workflows
  • Boundary principles
  • Coordinate systems

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
