Job Title: Litigation Attorney (Associate) – Real Estate & Mortgage Litigation

The Litigation Attorney (Associate) is responsible for handling legal matters related to real estate and mortgage litigation. This role involves drafting legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal analysis, and representing clients in legal proceedings. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of litigation experience, an active bar license, and a strong interest in real estate law, foreclosure defense, title disputes, or mortgage-related claims.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management

Manage and handle a caseload involving real estate and mortgage-related litigation

Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines

Legal Drafting

Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and court orders

Review and analyze client documents and case materials

Legal Research & Analysis

Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis

Support case strategy with thorough research and writing

Court Representation

Attend court hearings and legal proceedings

Represent clients under supervision as applicable

Client Communication

Communicate regularly with clients and provide updates on case progress

Provide legal advice under supervision (as applicable)

Collaboration

Collaborate with legal staff to coordinate case management activities

Required Qualifications

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Licensure

Active license to practice law (Bar admission)

Experience

1–3 years of experience in litigation or real estate law

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to obtain additional state bar admissions (if required)
