Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance & Repairs
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
Maintain and repair conveyors, robotics, boilers, HVAC systems, compressors, and related equipment
Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and drawings
Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Safety & Compliance
Ensure machinery operates according to manufacturing and safety standards
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Support outside contractors and vendors during repair or modification work
Participate in workplace safety, health, and environmental programs
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies
Communication & Collaboration
Communicate effectively with production teams and management
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Technical trade certification or post-secondary technical education
PLC/Automation training or certification
Welding or fabrication experience
Experience in food manufacturing or dairy processing environments
