Job Title: Neurologist
Job Overview
The Neurologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the nervous system, including conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting, with opportunities to develop specialized expertise and build long-term patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Care

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide ongoing care for patients with chronic neurological disorders.

Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
2. Specialized Care (Optional)
- Provide care in subspecialty areas such as headache disorders, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, or neuromuscular conditions.
3. Collaboration & Care Coordination

Work closely with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care.

Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case reviews.
4. Patient Education & Preventive Care
- Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and treatment options.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in electronic health systems.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).
Experience & Skills

Open to both new graduates and experienced neurologists.

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology.

Ability to interpret neurological diagnostic tests.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
