Neurologist (Outpatient)

An esteemed, physician-owned neurology practice in the Midwest is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Neurologist for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Golden Valley, MN. This role offers a highly collaborative outpatient environment dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care. Compensation, benefits, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonus details are currently Not Specified and will be discussed during the interview process. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected, multidisciplinary team with a 70-year legacy of exceptional service, allowing you to practice comprehensive neurology with the support of integrated services like neuropsychology, physical therapy, and neurodiagnostics, all while avoiding the administrative burdens often found in traditional hospital systems.

As a Neurologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. You will provide comprehensive neurological care through clinical evaluations, diagnostic testing interpretation, and the development of individualized treatment plans. You will work alongside a robust interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and improve neurological health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological conditions including epilepsy, stroke, migraines, neuropathies, MS, movement disorders, dementia, and neuromuscular diseases.

• Perform comprehensive neurological exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests (EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, CT scans).
• Develop individualized treatment plans encompassing medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and preventative care.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, therapists, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Qualifications:

• • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
  • Valid and unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration.
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS certification.

Technical & Soft Skills:

Technical: Proficiency in EMR systems, EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT interpretation.

• Soft Skills: Strong interdisciplinary collaboration, patient-centered communication, and clinical problem-solving. Note:  Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship will be considered. Relocation candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered.
