Job Title: New Product Development Design Engineer – Electronic Hardware

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to support the design, development, testing, verification, and troubleshooting of electronic control and monitoring systems used in powered equipment applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic hardware design, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
This role involves working on new product development initiatives, supporting existing products, performing safety analyses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and functional safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
-
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define product design requirements
-
Design, analyze, debug, validate, and document electronic hardware assemblies
Safety Analysis
- Perform system and subsystem safety analyses including:
- Hazard Analysis
- Fault Tree Analysis
PCB & Hardware
- Create and review electronic schematics and collaborate with PCB layout designers
Verification & Validation
- Define and execute product verification and validation procedures
Compliance

Ensure compliance with functional safety and industry-standard engineering practices

Follow
workplace safety guidelines and operational standards
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)

Relevant engineering experience in electronic hardware design may be considered in place of formal education

Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic hardware or product design engineering (preferred)

Experience with functional safety standards and automotive/commercial vehicle applications (preferred)
