Job Title:  OB/GYN Sonographer – Pelvic & Transvaginal Ultrasound | ARDMS Certified

Contractual | On-Site

Location:  Monroe New York, USA – On-Site

Work Mode:  On-Site | Women's Health / OB/GYN Practice

Schedule:  Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:45 PM | Two Sundays per month: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join a Women's Health team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal imaging, while ensuring exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging

• Perform pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal ultrasound examinations for OB/GYN patients

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate documentation of findings

Clinical Collaboration

• Prepare and communicate ultrasound reports to referring physicians and healthcare providers

Care Coordination

• Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up services

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all applicable healthcare compliance standards

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in departmental

quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (required)

• ARDMS certification (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OB/GYN ultrasound experience (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience

• Experience using EMR/EHR systems

• Strong technical proficiency and clinical judgment

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Compensation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday

• Assist patients with positioning during ultrasound examinations

• Move ultrasound equipment and assist with patient transfers or repositioning as needed
