Job Title:  Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide advanced surgical and non-surgical care for patients with traumatic injuries.

This role involves working in a high-acuity environment, managing emergency cases, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for patients with traumatic and acute orthopedic injuries.

  • Perform emergency and life-saving procedures in high-pressure situations.

  • Participate in trauma and emergency surgery call rotations, including nights and weekends.

  • Collaborate with specialists across disciplines such as critical care, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine.

  • Contribute to trauma care quality improvement programs and registry activities.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery or Orthopedic Surgery.

  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, or Acute Care Surgery (preferred).

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license (as per location requirements).

  • ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification (Instructor certification preferred).

  • Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of post-fellowship experience in trauma or acute care surgery.

  • Experience working in a trauma center environment.

Work Schedule

  • Rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
