Job Title:  Pediatric Rehabilitation Psychologist

Full-time | On-Site

Role Overview

We are seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Psychologist to provide specialized psychological care for children and adolescents with complex medical and neurological conditions.

This role focuses on supporting patients during rehabilitation by addressing cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and family adjustment needs.

The ideal candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and contribute to program development and patient recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions

  • Support patients with emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, and coping strategies

  • Address issues such as pain, fatigue, and treatment adherence

  • Develop and implement individualized care and behavioral plans

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

  • Participate in team meetings, rounds, and care planning

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines

Program Development

  • Contribute to rehabilitation program development and improvement initiatives

  • Support transition from inpatient to outpatient or community-based care

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in pediatric psychology

Qualifications

Education

  • Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution

Licensing

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in pediatric psychology or rehabilitation settings

  • Experience working with neurological conditions, developmental disorders, or complex medical cases (preferred)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in psychological assessment and intervention

  • Knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation and clinical psychology practices

  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations and families
