Job Title: Pharmacist (Float)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible, and efficient Pharmacist to join our team.
This role involves providing comprehensive pharmacy services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.
The pharmacist will work across multiple locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and allergies

Enter prescription and patient data into the system and supervise dispensing

Oversee and verify the work of Pharmacy Technicians
-
Provide patient counseling both in person and over the phone
-
Educate patients on medication usage, duration, and potential side effects
-
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
-
Monitor and manage medication inventory, placing orders as necessary
-
Ensure proper billing and compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements
-
Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory logs (including controlled substances)

Resolve third-party billing issues and rejections
-
Handle dispensing incidents according to established procedures

Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company standards

Maintain store operations, including cost control and service quality

Follow all safety and security procedures
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
-
Active and unrestricted pharmacy license
-
1–2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Excellent customer service orientation
-
Basic knowledge of pharmacy systems and
operations
