Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist / Area Manager to oversee the operations and performance of multiple therapy departments.

This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving operational and financial performance.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in multi-site management and a passion for delivering excellent rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance of multiple therapy departments

• Analyze departmental performance and implement strategies to meet financial and operational goals

• Supervise, train, and support Rehab Directors and therapy staff

• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and proper clinical documentation

• Develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives

• Participate in staffing decisions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions

• Support the launch and management of new clinical sites

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

• Address operational challenges and implement effective solutions

• Assist with marketing and business development initiatives

• Participate in professional development and training activities

Qualification:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the applicable state (or eligibility for licensure)

• Proven experience in multi-site or departmental management

• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Work across multiple clinical or rehabilitation facilities

• Frequent travel required between locations

• Combination of administrative and clinical responsibilities
