Job Title: Physician – Family Practice

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The physician will manage patient care, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and refer patients to specialists when necessary. This role focuses on delivering high-quality outpatient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and injuries

• Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations

• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies

• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging

• Provide preventive care and patient education

• Manage an average patient load efficiently in an outpatient setting

• Respond to after-hours calls as scheduled (telephone only)

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Collaborate with healthcare teams and supervise nurse practitioners/physician assistants as needed

• Participate in quality improvement activities, peer reviews, and organizational meetings

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

• Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)

• Current DEA certification and CPR certification

• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior outpatient or ambulatory care experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (e.g., EPIC or similar)

• Bilingual skills (e.g., Medical Spanish)

Work Environment

• Outpatient clinical setting

• Moderate to high patient volume

• Occasional after-hours call responsibilities (phone-based)
