Job Title:  Press Brake Tooling Design Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Press Brake Tooling Design Engineer to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements through precision tooling design and engineering solutions.

This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing press brake tooling setups while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in metal forming processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in tooling design, the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, and a hands-on approach to solving real-world manufacturing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop press brake tooling solutions for various forming applications

• Support manufacturing teams with tooling setup, optimization, and troubleshooting

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver practical engineering solutions

• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, including tolerances, materials, and specifications

• Perform dimensional analysis to validate tooling designs and forming processes

• Provide technical support for quoting and project planning

• Ensure tooling designs meet safety standards and performance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in press brake tooling and forming

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

• Experience with dimensional analysis and tolerance evaluation

• Familiarity with design file formats such as STP, SLDW (SolidWorks), and DXF

• Knowledge of material properties and behavior in forming processes
