Key Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will support the operational success of our projects through the following duties:
Project Documentation & Control:

Manage and track the lifecycle of RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.

Maintain accurate project logs and update project management software daily.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure compliance.
Coordination & Communication:

Facilitate seamless communication between project managers, field superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams.

Participate in project meetings (OACs, job walks) and draft comprehensive meeting minutes and progress reports.
Field Support & Quality Assurance:

Support onsite construction activities and assist the field team with resolving technical issues.

Monitor project schedules and assist with trade coordination to prevent bottlenecks.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction, project engineering, or a related field.
- Internship or co-op experience in a construction environment is highly valued.

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Outlook).

Attributes: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Setting: This is an on-site role that requires a blend of office work and active job site visits.

Travel: Local travel to various project sites is required.

Physical Demands: Must have the ability to walk active construction sites, navigate uneven terrain, and climb ladders as needed.

Licensing: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
