Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to serve as a clinical leader within a behavioral health program. This role is responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care, overseeing mental health services, and leading clinical program development.

The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical expertise with leadership capabilities to ensure effective, patient-centered care and integrated healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Patient Management:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions for patients across all stages of care

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress

• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)

Leadership & Program Oversight:

• Lead and oversee mental and behavioral health services

• Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, social workers, nurse practitioners)

• Support clinical program development and implementation of best practices

Operational & Compliance Management:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and clinical standards

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR systems

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and operational planning

Collaboration & Relationship Management:

• Build strong relationships with patients and their families

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams

Emergency & Critical Care:

• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when required

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Psychiatry

• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry (as per state requirements)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

• Proven experience in mental health care and clinical practice

• Strong knowledge of psychiatric treatments, protocols, and best practices

• Experience with regulatory standards and healthcare compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leadership or director-level roles

• Experience in community health or integrated care settings

• Familiarity with accreditation processes and quality standards
