Job Title: Psychiatrist / Mental Health Director
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to serve as a clinical leader within a behavioral health program. This role is responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care, overseeing mental health services, and leading clinical program development.
The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical expertise with leadership capabilities to ensure effective, patient-centered care and integrated healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Patient Management:

Diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions for patients across all stages of care

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress

Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
Leadership & Program Oversight:

Lead and oversee mental and behavioral health services
-
Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, social workers, nurse practitioners)

Support clinical program development and implementation of best practices
Operational & Compliance Management:

Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and clinical standards

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR systems

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and operational planning
Collaboration & Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with patients and their families

Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams
Emergency & Critical Care:
- Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when required
Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Psychiatry

Valid medical license to practice psychiatry (as per state requirements)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Proven experience in mental health care and clinical practice

Strong knowledge of psychiatric treatments, protocols, and best practices

Experience with regulatory standards and healthcare compliance
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in leadership or director-level roles

Experience in community health or integrated care settings
