Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Mobile Imaging)

Job Overview

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and EKGs, in various healthcare settings such as skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and patient residences.

This role involves delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient comfort, and working independently while maintaining strong communication with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnostic Imaging

• Perform mobile X-ray and EKG examinations.

• Ensure accurate image capture and quality for diagnostic purposes.

2. Patient Care

• Provide professional and compassionate care to patients.

• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort during exams.

3. Mobility & Field Work

• Travel to various locations to provide imaging services.

• Operate and maintain portable imaging equipment.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Capture, review, and submit imaging results through digital systems.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.

• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of imaging equipment.

Qualifications

Education & Training

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

• Valid state license or eligibility.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in diagnostic imaging, including X-ray and EKG preferred.

• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.

• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety protocols.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Work Environment

• Mobile role involving travel to multiple healthcare settings.
