Job Title: Radiologist – Body Imaging & PET/CT

Job Overview

The Radiologist – Body Imaging & PET/CT is responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies with a focus on body imaging and advanced modalities such as PET/CT.

This role involves working in an outpatient imaging setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnostic Imaging

• Interpret a wide range of imaging studies, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, and X-ray.

• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.

2. Patient Care

• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety in imaging procedures.

• Collaborate with referring physicians to support clinical decision-making.

3. Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with radiologists, physicians, technicians, and support staff.

• Communicate findings effectively to healthcare providers.

4. Clinical Operations

• Perform duties in an outpatient imaging environment.

• Support efficient workflow and imaging operations.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to clinical guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Training

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology preferred.

• Strong expertise in body imaging and diagnostic interpretation.

• Experience with PET/CT and oncologic imaging is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Environment

• Outpatient imaging center setting.
