Job Title: Radiology / CT Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology / CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established radiologic standards and safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures as ordered by providers

Screen patients for contraindications and ensure proper preparation prior to examinations

Explain imaging procedures and provide patient education to ensure comfort and understanding
-
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing repeat examinations

Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize exposure

Adjust imaging equipment and exposure settings according to patient needs and examination requirements

Monitor imaging equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and imaging records

Ensure confidentiality and
security of patient information

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of imaging rooms and supplies

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care

Assist with CT protocol updates, software enhancements, and departmental quality initiatives

Support onboarding and training of new staff members when required

Perform additional clinical duties within scope of practice, including:
- Venipuncture
- Vital Signs Collection
- Electrocardiograms (EKG)
- Laboratory Support Functions

Participate in quality improvement and
patient safety initiatives

- Ability to perform CT and X-ray imaging independently (required)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Computed Tomography (CT) and
Diagnostic Radiology
- Experience with PACS systems and
teleradiology workflows
- Experience in urgent care, emergency care, outpatient imaging, or
hospital settings

ARRT Certification (required)

State Radiologic Technologist License required (where applicable)

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and move throughout the workday
