JOB TITLE: Senior Civil Engineer – Roadway & Infrastructure Design

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will combine technical expertise, project management, and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality infrastructure and site development projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership
Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through completion
Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards
Oversee project scheduling and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Design & Documentation
Develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Support design of infrastructure projects, including roadway and site development
Prepare horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, drainage, and erosion control plans
Collaboration & Compliance
Collaborate with designers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
Perform site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality
Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Plan work zone traffic control in accordance with relevant standards
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles
Experience in:
Roadway design and construction plans
Horizontal and vertical alignments
Grading, drainage, and erosion control design
Work zone traffic control planning and relevant standards
Strong understanding of engineering codes and regulatory requirements
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license (strongly preferred)
Technical Skills
Proficiency with the following tools (or equivalents):
AutoCAD Civil 3D
Bentley OpenRoads Designer
Bluebeam (for markup and collaboration)
