JOB TITLE: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Lewis Center, OH
Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance hardware systems. This role involves working across circuit design, embedded systems, and system-level integration to support the development of reliable and innovative computing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hardware Design & Development
- Lead electrical component-level design, schematic capture, and PCB layout using tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent
2. Embedded Systems & Integration
- Design and develop embedded hardware and software using microcontrollers (e.g., PIC or similar)
3. Interconnect & Signal Design
- Engineer and implement high-speed interconnects such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, I2C, and UART
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Create and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports
5. Testing & Compliance

Develop design verification (DVT) and production test plans

Support lab testing and manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience in hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout

Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design

Experience with interconnect protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, I2C, UART, etc.)

Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller-based design
Preferred Skills

Experience with rugged computing platforms, processors (Intel/AMD), FPGAs, and Linux systems

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if required
