Job Title:  Senior Energy Transactions Attorney

Full-time | Hybrid

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Transactions Attorney to support complex renewable energy projects and transactions.

This role involves leading the negotiation, drafting, and execution of agreements related to energy project development, construction, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in renewable energy transactions, strong legal expertise in contract negotiation, and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management & Legal Advisory

  • Lead negotiation and drafting of key agreements including EPC, equipment supply, O&M, and service contracts

  • Manage the full lifecycle of energy project transactions from initial structuring through execution and completion

Project Development & Due Diligence

  • Conduct and lead due diligence for financing, acquisitions, and project development transactions

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subject matter experts

Regulatory & Compliance Advisory

  • Provide guidance on international trade regulations, tariffs, and procurement-related legal matters

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop practical, business-oriented legal solutions

  • Mentor junior attorneys and support team development

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in energy transactions or project development

  • Strong experience in renewable energy sectors (solar, wind, energy storage, etc.)

  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating EPC, O&M, and supply agreements
