Job Title:  Shipping and Receiving Supervisor – Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations

Employment Type:  Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and finishing operations within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

This role is responsible for supporting efficient plant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining safety standards, and helping achieve production and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate shipping, receiving, warehouse, and finishing operations

• Manage daily workflow to meet production schedules, quality standards, and operational targets

Team Leadership

• Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain a productive workforce

• Enforce company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards

Continuous Improvement

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, and operational efficiency

Problem-Solving & Coordination

• Resolve operational and customer-related issues in a timely and professional manner

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain operational records including production, attendance, and reporting documentation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred, ideally within a

manufacturing or industrial environment

• Experience working in a union environment (preferred)

• Strong

leadership and team management skills

• Good

mathematical, organizational, and administrative skills

• Strong

communication and problem-solving abilities

• Mechanical aptitude (preferred)

• Ability to

manage employees across multiple shifts and departments

• Proficiency in basic reporting and administrative functions

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods

manufacturing equipment, machinery, heights, and varying noise levels

• Ability to inspect and access production equipment safely

• Must

follow and enforce all workplace safety procedures and policies
