Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist / Clinical Fellow
Job Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Clinical Fellow is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting. This role focuses on supporting students’ communication needs, improving functional outcomes, and collaborating with educators and families to enhance student success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment & Diagnosis

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments.
2. Therapy & Intervention
-
Provide individualized therapy services to students based on identified needs.
-
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
3. Documentation & Meetings
-
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including evaluation and progress reports.

Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and case conferences.
4. Collaboration & Communication
-
Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, psychologists, and other professionals.

Communicate effectively with students, families, and caregivers.
5. Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience & Skills

Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.

Ability to work with children across various age groups.

Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
