Job Title: Survey Crew Chief
Full-time | Field & Office (Hybrid)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field
surveying activities and support construction and engineering
projects.
This role involves collecting and analyzing survey data, coordinating
with project teams, and ensuring accuracy in field operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform field collection of boundary and topographic survey data

Conduct construction staking and related calculations

Collect, manage, and process survey data

Utilize surveying software and tools for data analysis and reporting

Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve discrepancies

Maintain accurate field notes and documentation

Operate surveying equipment and company vehicles

Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements
Qualifications
-
Associate’s or Technical degree in Surveying, Engineering, Construction, CAD, or a related field (preferred)

3+ years of experience in surveying or construction (heavy civil experience preferred)

Survey Technician Certification or willingness to obtain certification
-
Professional licensure (or eligibility) is a plus
