Urologist – Mission-Driven Community Hospital in Nashville, TN

As a urologist, you will provide comprehensive patient care, from conducting evaluations and performing minimally invasive surgeries to managing chronic conditions like prostate cancer and kidney stones. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, interpret advanced diagnostic tests, and play a key role in clinical research and the education of medical residents and fellows.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for urological conditions.

Perform urological procedures and surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques.

Interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and urodynamic studies.

Manage chronic conditions including prostate cancer, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and oncologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Educate and mentor medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.

Completed an accredited residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in urology.

Board-certified or board-eligible in urology.

2 years of experience in urology preferred; new graduates with exceptional training will be considered.

Technical & Soft Skills:

Technical: Proficiency in urological procedures/surgeries (including minimally invasive techniques), interpretation of diagnostic imaging and urodynamic studies, and management of chronic urological conditions.

Soft Skills: Compassionate, patient-centered approach; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong clinical and diagnostic abilities; collaborative team player.
